Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using AmortGrid you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. Description of the service

AmortGrid provides free, browser-based mortgage, loan, debt and savings calculators, together with explanatory guides. The service is informational and educational, is provided free of charge, and is supported by display advertising and by affiliate and lead-generation relationships with lenders, brokers and other partners.

3. Estimates only: not financial, legal, tax or investment advice

The calculators produce mathematical estimates from the figures you enter. They do not constitute financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and nothing on this site is a recommendation to take, refinance, consolidate or repay any particular product. Results are not a quotation, offer, commitment or approval to lend from any lender, and no lender is bound by them.

4. No adviser-client relationship

Using this site does not create an adviser-client, broker-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship between you and us. We do not act as your agent, and we do not act on behalf of any lender. Before making a financial decision, consult a licensed or authorised professional who can consider your full circumstances.

5. Accuracy and no warranty

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any result will be accurate, complete or suitable for your circumstances. Interest rates, fees, taxes and lending rules change, and a result that was correct when published may later be out of date.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Enter figures that are as accurate as you can make them; the output is only as good as the input.
  • Check every result against your lender's own statement, illustration or offer document before relying on it.
  • Keep your own copies of anything you need; we do not store your calculations and cannot recover them.
  • Use the service lawfully and for your own personal, non-commercial purposes unless we agree otherwise in writing.

7. Intellectual property

The site's text, guides, calculation code, design, layout and branding are owned by us or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view the site, print pages and save results for your own personal use. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, sell, mirror or systematically extract the content, and you may not use it to train or supply a machine learning model without our prior written permission. The AmortGrid name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our consent.

8. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • scrape, crawl or harvest the site at scale, or use automated tools to send bulk requests;
  • circumvent rate limits, access controls or security measures, or attempt to break, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service;
  • inject code, upload malicious content, or interfere with advertising and measurement systems, including by generating artificial impressions or clicks;
  • resell, sublicense or rebrand the service or its output as your own product;
  • remove or obscure copyright, attribution or disclaimer notices.

9. Third-party links and affiliate relationships

Some links on this site, including links in guides, are affiliate or lead-generation links: if you click one and go on to apply for or take out a product, we may be paid a commission or referral fee. This never changes a calculation result or the wording of a guide, and it does not affect the price you pay. Advertising is served by third parties including Google. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for third-party websites, products or services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, lost opportunity or financial loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from any decision made in reliance on a result. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us for the service, which is zero because the service is free, and the minimum amount required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of the Republic of Türkiye have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence continue to apply and may allow you to bring proceedings locally.

13. Termination

We may modify, suspend or withdraw the service, or restrict access to it, at any time and without notice. You may stop using the site at any time. Because the service has no accounts, termination simply means that you may no longer use the site. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law, continue to apply.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

15. Entire agreement

These terms, together with the privacy policy, the financial disclaimer and the methodology page, form the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the site, and supersede any earlier understanding or communication on that subject.

16. Changes to these terms

Effective date: 27 September 2026.

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page with a new effective date, and your continued use of the site after that date means you accept the changes.
